welcome to the gang!

Welcome to Morgs & Jen's Sewcial Club, we are so happy you've stopped by & want to join our crafting gang!

Morgs & Jen's Sewcial Club was started by two South West England gals now living in South East London, both totally obsessed with crafting and want everyone to join their gang and get making and learning new skills too!

After meeting at one of Morgan's retail pop ups (more on that later) and discovering a mutual love of crafting and gin, they soon started coming up with workshop ideas focusing on recycling and sustainability. The current range of workshops include Clothes & Accessories upcycling, Pom Pom & Tassel Making (we love to put them on everything!), Kitschy Christmas Garland making, beginners basic knitting & crochet classes and how to turn old clothing into yarn & knit with it are all held at local pub's or bar's in South East London.

To find out what we've got going on, head over to the What's On Page for all our upcoming Workshops and also sign up to the Newsletter or just drop us a message via the Contact page

Jenni Willson, studied textile surface design and specialised in knitwear and screen printing at university. Missing her university community, she started a Stitch n Bitch group, Citystitchin' (Facebook & Instagram & Twitter @citystitchin) in Lewisham, South East London where she now lives. She always wanted to take her crafting and pom pom obsession to the next level by hosting workshops and passing on her skills to others.

Morgan Webber-Newman is the other half of the team, she moved to London after studying fashion design at university and has now lived for over a decade and works in the Fashion Industry. Morgan also has her own business Thunder & Lightning (check her out on Facebook & Instagram @thunderandlightningshop & twitter @TandLshop) selling kistchy and colourful clothing, accessories & prints produced by UK Based Indie Brands, with a focus on UK based manufacture and sustainability. Find her online at www.thunderandlightningshop.com and at various pop ups in and around South East London.

The two met when Jen stumbled across one of Morgan's pop up's and spotted Morgan crocheting a granny square. Jen invited Morgan to her next Stitch n Bitch Sewcial, which ended in a bit of a bar crawl round Catford and the rest is wonderful crafting history!
